Bellbird Park State School, Bellbird Park, Ipswich
Project Value: $6M

Bellbird Park State School is a new, state-of-the-art primary school developed to support one of Queensland’s fastest growing communities. The campus features a mix of single, two, and three-storey buildings, including dedicated Prep, junior, and senior learning areas, as well as administration offices, a multipurpose hall, canteen, covered eating zones, amenities, and an expansive oval.
On-Point Commercial Projects was engaged to deliver internal construction works across the school, including ceilings, partitions, carpentry, and door frames.
Despite significant weather challenges during the build, On-Point maintained progress by deploying additional trades at key stages—ensuring all works remained on track. The project was delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, ready to welcome students from Prep to Year 6 in early 2024.

Proxima mixed use development, Southport, Gold Coast

This project was the first private commercial development within Lumina – the Queensland Government’s commercial cluster based within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, Asia Pacific’s emerging health and innovation hub.
On-Point Commercial Projects was contracted for works on this development which now homes medical resources including Pathology, QLD Xray, Cancer radiology, other medical professional suites along with an immense child care facility.
On-Point’s work included:
• Internal walls and ceilings
• External cladding using both external ply and CFC
• Aluminium glazing suites with glazing
• Multiple feature ceilings using a variety of materials including ply, aluminium wood look products and slotted timber
Working closely with the builder and other quality trades this state-of-the-art project was completed to the highest standard and delivered on time and on budget.

Narangba Council Depot, Narangba, Moreton Bay
Project Value: $3M
Project Type: Commercial Carpentry, Plastering, Walls and Ceilings
This Moreton Bay Regional Council Depot required carpentry work (doors, stairs, Supa Wood wall cladding to lifts and skirting) along with plastering (steal stud framing, grid ceilings, wall and ceiling board sheeting, setting and external cladding in equitone).
The external cladding of over 2000m2 of equitone over specialised panels that were routed specifically for this project was no easy feat. Despite the challenges of lining up the building from each corner as the team worked around the building, the works were completed on time working around the carparks, footpaths and garden work which was happening simultaneously.
On-Point delivered to extremely tight timeframes and delivered a high-quality project with a clean look throughout. Project highlights included the front entry to the stairs and lift, along with external cladding.

St Paul’s Innovation Centre, Bald Hills, Brisbane

St Paul’s School required commercial carpentry, plastering, walls and ceilings work for their Innovation Centre encompassing a two-storey library, with arts and theatre space.
On-Point Commercial Project’s extensive works included:
Carpentry: doors, skirting, TROLDEKT acoustic panels, Supa Wood cladding, AUTEX ceiling acoustics and decking.
Plastering: steal stud framing, grid ceilings, perforated acoustic ceilings, wall and ceiling board sheeting and setting.
The project highlight included fitting out the recreational theatre to take noise with curved ceilings with perforated infills leading to led light coffers racking down to follow
the seating area.
Both sides of the walls leading down the seated stairs included TROLDEKT and Supa
Wood panels both creating acoustic performance and feature panels to give the area a unique look.
The client was very happy with the result and with the works being completed on time and on budget.

Ramsay Health Care Mental Health, Southport, Gold Coast

Project Type: Refurbishment
On-Point Commercial Projects was commissioned to complete a refurbishment of a mental health facility on the Gold Coast.
This was a challenging refurbishment given multiple underlying conditions arose as a cause of previous refurbishment work over the past 30 years and the age of the building.
Despite setbacks, this refurbishment was successfully completed to the client’s program, and delivered on time and on budget.

Mount Gravatt TAFE, Mount Gravatt, Brisbane
Project Value: $1.1M
Project Type: Office fit-out
As part of a broader upgrade to modernise the Mount Gravatt campus, this project aimed to ensure the facilities remain future-ready, supporting a wide range of training programs including horticulture, filmmaking, and fashion. The redevelopment also facilitated the relocation of TAFE Queensland’s Corporate team to the site, consolidating operations and enhancing campus functionality.
On-Point Commercial Projects was engaged to deliver key internal construction works including:
• Partitions and framing
• Ceilings and carpentry
• Glazing and hardware installation
The project formed a cornerstone of the new Fashion Centre of Excellence and delivered upgraded, flexible learning spaces designed with adaptability and sustainability in mind. On-Point completed all works to a high standard, with the project handed over on time, under budget, and with minimal defects—meeting the client’s goals for both quality and efficiency.

Kenmore South State School, Kenmore, Brisbane

Kenmore South State School is expanding with a new three story learning centre, adding 12 additional learning spaces and enabling the school to accommodate 250 more students.
On-Point Commercial Projects was engaged to undertake partitions, framing, ceilings, ceiling insulation, soffits/cladding, carpentry, doors and hardware, as well as furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE).
Through efficient management, effective task prioritisation, and continuous communication, On-Point successfully met the project deadline while maintaining quality and focus.
The end result is a state-of-the-art facility that meets the school’s growing demands and reflects On-Point Commercial Projects’ commitment to delivering high-quality educational environments.

Deception Bay State High School, Deception Bay

Deception Bay State High School required significant upgrades and new buildings to accommodate both educational and health services, with flexibility for future expansions.
On-Point was engaged to undertake partitions, ceilings, cladding/soffits, carpentry, doors and hardware, as well as framing for the under croft - ensuring a comprehensive and robust construction.
The completed facility features four versatile learning areas, a dedicated health support room, and a staff space complemented by various amenities, along with utility and storage rooms for operational efficiency. A covered link connects buildings, improving convenience and accessibility for students and staff alike.
Despite challenges such as material delays and scheduling conflicts with other teams, careful task reprioritisation, alternative supplier arrangements, and extended work hours allowed On-Point Commercial Projects to successfully deliver a flexible, future-ready space on schedule.

The Hotel School, Brisbane CBD, Brisbane

Located in the heart of Brisbane’s bustling CBD, The Hotel School is Australia’s only hotel management institution formed through a partnership between a public university and a global hotel investment group. The school plays a key role in training future professionals for the city’s growing tourism and hospitality sectors.
On-Point Commercial Projects was engaged to deliver high-quality internal works for this unique education facility.
On-Point's scope of work included:

• Carpentry elements
The project was delivered under a tight timeline and required rapid mobilisation to align with the builder’s program. On-Point allocated additional resources at key phases and worked flexibly to accommodate evolving site conditions and design changes. Through close coordination with all stakeholders, the project was completed to a high standard - on time and on budget.

Level 9, 141 Queen Street, Brisbane City, Brisbane

141 Queen Street in Brisbane required extensive refurbishment works on Level 9 to transform a shell into a fully operational space.
On-Point Commercial Projects was engaged to deliver a comprehensive interior upgrade, which included supplying and installing partitions, framing, ceilings, carpentry, glazing, and hardware.
The scope also involved updating the lobby area, as well as renovating the lift lobby and amenities on Level 9.
Despite a demanding 12 week timeframe, the refurbishment was successfully completed on schedule, demonstrating On-Point Commercial Projects’ efficiency and expertise in managing complex fit-out and refurbishment projects.

Iona College Primary Hub, Lindum, Brisbane

Iona College commissioned a new extension to its Primary Building, designed to provide contemporary, purpose-built learning spaces for Year 5 and Year 6 students.
On-Point Commercial Projects was engaged to deliver a comprehensive scope of work including partitions, external and internal walls, cladding/soffits, ceilings, and the supply and installation of doors and hardware. The expanded facility encompasses general learning areas, a commercial kitchen, staff rooms, changing rooms, a gymnasium, foyer, amenities, storage spaces, and extensive landscaping.
On-Point successfully met the requirements for a fully functional, aesthetically pleasing space. Reflecting on the project, Melanie Patterson, Senior Project Manager, stated, “Appreciate the effort that On-Point have put in on the project. The school is extremely happy with the outcome in the walks we’ve done with them, and that’s only possible with the work our subbies put in. Look forward to the next one!”

Cancer Radiology & Therapy Centre (CRT), Southport, Gold Coast

The Cancer Radiology & Therapy Centre (CRT) was established to provide the highest quality diagnostic imaging for oncology patients, supporting some of the most advanced and innovative cancer treatments available in Queensland.
On-Point Commercial Projects was engaged to deliver a comprehensive scope of internal works, including partition installation, framing, ceilings, carpentry, hardware and doors, aluminium frames, skirting, bracing for block walls, access panels, and demolition and disposal of existing structures.
Early involvement in the base build allowed On-Point to coordinate critical design and construction elements, such as lead shielding, set downs, core holes, and service integration—ensuring the specialised requirements of PET + NucMed, MRI, mammography, ultrasound, and X-ray suites were met to the highest standard.
As Queensland’s first dedicated private cancer diagnostic imaging and theragnostic provider, the CRT Centre opened at the Proxima Building in June 2024.
On-Point successfully completed the fit-out within a tight 12-week program by streamlining project management, prioritising critical path items, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders—delivering a cutting-edge facility built to meet stringent safety and clinical standards.
